The Superlighteners consist of 8 different tonal bases.

The Superlighteners lift 5 to 6 levels starting from a NL-5 - Light Brown

The dilution ratio is 1:2, 1 part color to 2 parts 30 or 40vol. Oxidizing Perfumed Cream Developer.

Timing is 45 minutes for 30vol Oxidizing Cream Developer and 55 minutes for 40vol Oxidizing Cream Developer, it is recommended that you check every 15 minutes during the processing time.
?Timing should be reduced for bleached or relaxed hair and 20 or 30vol only should be used for these types of hair.

• Retouch application of the Superlightener Blondes
It is important to apply the Superlighteners color to the new growth only as previously lightened hair may take on the tonal quality of the base. Therefore, if ends require refreshing, use the Hair Color Creams with 10 volume or the Universal Activator to refresh the ends.
Note: If no color refreshing is necessary on the ends, protect them with COLOR CARE CONDITIONER before rinsing out the color.

Toner Application - Refreshing mid shaft & ends:
Remember porosity when retouching a toner application. To insure even color result from scalp to ends, balance the porosity with COLOR CARE CONDITIONER + DISTILLED WATER in a spray bottle, then apply the Color Cream + 10vol or the Universal Activator to the mid shaft & ends of the hair you are refreshing.

Gold Bands:
Gold bands usually occur when there is over ½ inch of regrowth. Heat from the regrowth area causes it to develop lighter than the next ½ inch, causing “bands” of color.
To prevent gold bands, apply color 1/2 inch away from the scalp to the line of demarcation when there is a large regrowth area. After development begins on that area, then apply color to the scalp area.
Avoid this problem by educating the client on proper color maintenance. The Superlighteners require 4 to 6 week color maintenance so have them pre-book their appointment times.
